New Game News Flash #4: Play 32 Cards at Springbok Casino!
When you think of a classic casino card game, names like poker and blackjack might spring to mind. Sure, those are staples that are readily available at Springbok Casino. Yet have you heard of the new addition to our online casino table games menu…? It has nothing to do with the number ‘21’!
Springbok Casino is proud to introduce the 32 Cards – an awesome SpinLogic Gaming title that’s trending in our lobby right now. This new casino table game is set to shake things up and offer something fresh for all you card game enthusiasts!
What is 32 Cards All About?
32 Cards is an exciting new casino card game that’s simple to grasp yet brimming with anticipation. The goal? Predict which of the four players (Player 8, Player 9, Player 10, or Player 11) will boast the highest point hand at the end of each round.
It's a straightforward casino card game, but with plenty of room for betting strategy and fun. As for the ‘players’? Those are player positions, and not actual players! It’s still a one-on-one between you and our Springbok Casino software.
The game gets its name from the special deck that is in play. Instead of a standard 52-card deck, all the Aces through 5s (in the four different suits) have been removed from the deck. This leaves you with a total of… 32 cards!
How to Play 32 Cards
If you’re wondering how to play 32 Cards, let’s break it down for you. To start, choose your chip value using the plus (+) or minus (-) buttons. Once you’ve decided on your wager, place your bet on one or more of the four players: Player 8, Player 9, Player 10, or Player 11.
As we’ve mentioned, these are not actual players. They’re betting positions – as with the Player, Banker and Tie betting positions in Baccarat!
In 32 Cards, each player starts with a default point value, which corresponds to their name:
- Player 8: 8 points
- Player 9: 9 points
- Player 10: 10 points
- Player 11: 11 points
When you're ready to move forward with the round, press the Deal button. The SpinLogic casino software shuffles the 32-card deck, and each player position receives one card.
Each card in the game has its own point value, ranging from 6 to 13, depending on the rank of the card:
- 6 of any suit: 6 points
- 7 of any suit: 7 points
- 8 of any suit: 8 points
- 9 of any suit: 9 points
- 10 of any suit: 10 points
- Jack of any suit: 11 points
- Queen of any suit: 12 points
- King of any suit: 13 points
The total for each player is calculated by adding the card's point value to their default point value. The player with the highest total wins the round. If there’s a tie, an additional card is dealt to the tied players until a winner emerges.
Betting and Payouts in 32 Cards
In the 32 Cards table game, understanding the betting options and payouts is key to developing your 32 Cards strategy. Chip values range from R2 up to R200, but the table betting limit is capped at R500.
Here are the payouts for each player:
- Player 8: 11:1
- Player 9: 4.5:1
- Player 10: 2.2:1
- Player 11: 1:1
You can place bets on one, two, or even three players in a single round, which opens up multiple opportunities to win. Whichever way you choose to bet, the R500 table limit will remain in place. In other words, and as an example, you can bet R200 on players 8 and 9 and R100 on player 10 at max.
The game also offers Rebet and New Bet options after each round, making it easy to adjust the betting options to suit your betting balance. If you want to play it safe with the minimum R2 bet on one player, you can!
Mastering the 32 Cards Strategy + Tips for Winning
Have we mentioned that 32 Cards is a game of luck? That’s true. Unlike poker where you choose which cards to hold, or blackjack where you can hit or stand, the outcome of 32 Cards is out of your hands.
To truly excel at the 32 Cards, your strategy ultimately comes down to your betting behaviour. Here are some 32 Cards betting tips to enhance your game at Springbok Casino:
- Start with Small Bets: If you’re new to the 32 Cards, start with smaller R2 bets on one player to get a feel for how it works. As you become more comfortable, you can gradually increase your stakes and spread your bets across multiple positions.
- Understand the Odds: Pay attention to the payouts for each player. Player 8 offers the highest payout while Player 11 has a lower payout but the latter comes with a starting advantage – although the payout is less.
- Hedge Your Bets: The beauty of playing 32 Cards is that you can bet on up to three players. By doing this, you’re effectively hedging your bets. Provided your bankroll can withstand a loss, try to bet on more than one player.
- Watch for Patterns: While each game is independent from the previous and the next, keeping an eye on past results might give reveal a pattern that you can leverage.
- Use Rebet Wisely: With a R500 table limit, you can easily deplete your bankroll. Rebet is great when you’re winning in 32 Cards and on a roll, but be careful not to place an accidental big bet that you can’t afford.
